Ok so the Friday favorites are a little late, but why not have Monday favorites?
1. My type A planning self
Yes that is a calendar that goes in my kitchen as well as a food organizer chart for the week. Most days I love my type a planning self. Some days I like planning more than actually doing anything. I’m in the process of working out my pre half marathon training plan. More type a, it’s cool.
2. New Candle smell!
We’ve spent at least one night a week since moving into our new apartment without electricity. Paul and I got to go through a whole bunch of candles and I found my new favorite smell. Yes this is on the list of most exciting discoveries when you have no electricity. Pumpkin Buttercream, win. Be Thankful is a close second. Go candle shopping, now.
3. Dairy Free!
For someone who didn’t have dairy all that much anymore, this no dairy thing was hard this week. From my morning coffee, to my oatmeal, to the sauce for any dinner meal I had. Everything has dairy in it that I like apparently. It all seemed worth it though when I didn’t feel sick from one meal or another all day. I’m not completely dairy free, but working on it.
4. My running lately! Woohooo
My last run was awesome and I was able to even surprise myself with how things have been lately. It is taking a little while in the new place to establish a routine of running workouts, but I am getting there an loving it! It’s been a while since one of my favorite things for the week is running and I think my “not having a race a weekend schedule” is definitely helping that.
